Balayage

Balayage : This French technique refers to the art of painting hair with a sweeping motion. It is an alternative to traditional foil highlighting. Balayage produces a natural effect much like what the sun produces naturally. These highlights cascade along the hair eliminating the typical lines seen in foiling. Hollywood is full of stars and celebs who gracefully wear this highly sought after technique. Many people try to copy/imitate this technique but only specifically skilled colorists who have studied it can perform it successfully. There are several ways to execute the technique however the goal is to produce that natural cascade of light that lives in the middle and ends of the hair.
